What
is the cancellation policy?
Please observe the courtesy of
cancelling or rescheduling appointments at least 24 hours in
advance. We will do our best to accommodate your needs should an
emergency arise. We frequently have a wait list of clients and
less than a 24 hour cancellation does not give us enough time to
rebook the cancelled slot. We reserve the right to require
payment for these situations. This applies even if the
appointment has been pre-paid or you are using a gift
certificate.
How early should I arrive for a
spa appointment?
Arrive 15
minutes before your scheduled reservation to allow yourself
ample time to check in, change and relax in our lounge. Please
note that late arrivals will have treatment times adjusted
accordingly to ensure timeliness for the next guest and charged
for the full treatment originally reserved.
Do I need
to bring anything?
We
provide a robe, spa sandals and a personal locker with key for
the time you spend at Amaana Spa & Skin Clinic. For pedicure
services, you should bring sandals to ensure proper drying time.
Our locker rooms also have deodorant, mousse, shampoo,
conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer and curling iron. Please
leave your valuables at home.
We are not
responsible for lost or stolen property.
If I am
using a gift certificate for payment, do I have to bring it with
me, or do you have a record of it?
We do have to
have the gift certificate for payment. If you have forgotten it,
we just take your credit card number which we will hold for 2
weeks before sending through the charge. That will give you time
to get the gift certificate to us. We cannot be responsible for
lost or stolen gift certificates. The gift certificate is
treated as cash.
Can I bring
my children to wait while I'm getting a service?
Amaana Spa &
Skin Clinic is an adult-oriented atmosphere. Children are not
permitted unless receiving a service, so please make outside
arrangements for children.
What about
tipping?
We have
designed our spa to have the gratuity included in the price.
What if I
purchase a product and wish to return it?
If you are not
satisfied with a product, please let us know within two weeks of
purchase. Simply bring in the product for an exchange of another
product or a spa credit valid towards any purchase at the spa.
There is no return on makeup.
I notice
several packages include food. What if I'm not booking those
services but wish to have a snack?
We can always
add a snack (usually fruit , cheese and crackers) or lunch for
an additional minimal charge. Just request this at the time you
book your appointment.
What if I'm
pregnant or have a medical condition, who should I talk to about
that?
Let the
receptionist know when you are making the appointment, and then
be sure to mention it to your therapist.
